Swimmer to miss Melbourne Olympics

Swimmer Ryan Hall has been named in the team for Melbourne Olympics, the Sydney Morning Herald reported on Friday.
The 32-year-old swimmer was expected to be part of a two-team team to be announced on Friday, but was not named in an announcement to be made on Saturday.
The Herald said he was named in a list of eight swimmer to be considered by Australian swimmers for the men’s 200m freestyle event.
The team for the Rio Games, which starts on Friday night, is expected to feature nine swimms, and includes a total of five men.
