The most beautiful kitten in the UK has been crowned the Queen’s favorite.
Kitten Cat Queen, as she’s been nicknamed, was crowned the winner of a global competition on Monday, the first ever for the world’s most beautiful cats.
The winner, named Queen Cat, is from a cat breeding farm in the south of England.
She’s the first female in the competition’s history to win.
The queen cat’s mother, who is a former queen of the United Kingdom, is said to have given birth to her daughter last year.
The kitten, named Rose, is one of more than 150,000 kitties worldwide who have been bred to become the Queen.
Kitties can live up to 50 years, and their fur is highly prized.
The BBC reports that the winner is not named in the contest because of the kitty’s breed.
It’s unclear whether Rose is the new Queen Cat’s biological mother or a surrogate.
The kitty will have her own Twitter account and will be able to respond to users and ask them to pose for photographs.
